(about the project)

Common Current is a rebrand of the non-profit Friends of the Los Angeles River, focused on repositioning the river as both a physical and social connector across the city. The goal was to create a more inclusive and contemporary identity that reflects collective stewardship. I developed a flexible visual system centered on a wavy line that evolves into various forms, symbolizing movement and community impact. The identity is supported by a vibrant color palette and scalable elements that express energy, accessibility, and a shared urban ecosystem.
