(about the project)

Facade is a thesis project that examines how identity is constructed and presented across digital environments. Inspired by Goffman’s idea of identity as performance, it explores how people curate multiple personae shaped by social and technological contexts. I used design as a way to question how identity could become more fluid and tangible, imagining a system where users create wearable accessories to express different alter egos. The project reflects on authenticity and the shifting boundaries between the real and the imagined.
